How it works

1. Waste Transformed into Beauty

We partner with UK coffee roasters, cafes and other local suppliers to collect used coffee grounds and organic waste.

2. Natural Materials, Expert Craftsmanship

These recycled grounds and organic fibres (e.g. fruit stones, nutshells, powdered minerals) are combined with natural bio-binders and pressed onto sustainable substrates by hand.

3. Customisable Colours & Textures

Through organic pigments, powdered metals or natural materials like charcoal or marble dust, we achieve a unique palette of finishes –  bespoke colour matching is also available.

4. Installation - and a Lifetime of Use

The finished panels can be fabricated into worktops, splashbacks, tables or panels. With proper care they can last for decades.

Yes. KAVA surfaces are hygienic, odour-free and resistant to everyday impacts. With proper care, they offer long-lasting performance comparable to traditional worktop materials.
How do I clean and maintain it?

Use water and mild (neutral) soaps. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach or prolonged soaking. Don’t leave wet cloths or towels on the surface, and avoid dragging heavy or abrasive objects along it.
Is it really sustainable / eco-friendly?
Absolutely. KAVA is plastic-free, carbon-neutral, made from a minimum of 70% recycled content, and is fully recyclable at the end of its life.
